KES2014 18th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Information & Engineering SystemsGdynia, Poland (September 15-17, 2014) |
Invited Session (IS 17):
Knowledge-Based Intelligent System and Application
[Purpose
of This Session]
Knowledge-Based intelligent system and application are
applicable to many fields. Any processing systems by computers,
are designed as
efficient as possible for the intelligent performances. Modeling
and cognitive
design are important in the application field. Sometimes, soft
computing
methods, are used in the Knowledge-based intelligent systems and applications.
In this session,
we will
present the intelligent processing,
evolutional computing, agents processing, artificial neural networks, intelligent operation for the
e-learning, data mining and application, vision processing with
learning approach and cognitive processing for the
knowledge-based intelligent systems, et al.

Full papers will be reviewed by the IPC and if accepted and presented, they may be published after the conference in Elsevier's Procedia Computer Science open access journal, available in ScienceDirect and indexed/abstracted in CPCi (ISI conferences), Engineering Index, and Scopus.
Full papers should be detailed academic articles in conventional format. The guide length for full papers is 8 to 10 pages (maximum).
Guidance notes for the preparation of Full Papers is available .. here .. and an MS Word template is available .. here ..
For a paper to be published in the Procedia proceedings
It is the author's responsibility to ensure that their paper does not contain any errors. Also, kindly note that Elsevier will publish what they receive so it is important that the authors submit the final version of their papers.
Proofs will not be sent to authors at any time during production.
If the above conditions are not adhered to, the paper will not be published in Procedia Energy, but we may be able to publish the paper elsewhere - contact us for details.

Authors are not encouraged to submit multiple papers, and depending on numbers of submissions, authors may be restricted to one paper per registration.By submitting a paper for the conference authors undertake that, if the paper is accepted, they will pay the fee, attend the conference, and present the paper.
By submitting a paper you also indicate that you accept the KES Terms and Conditions, available .. here .. on the conference web site, and that you agree to abide by them
Extended versions of selected papers will be considered
for publication in the KES Journal (International Journal of
Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems) published by IOS
Press, see KES
Journal.
